The hospital is open daily Monday through Saturday according to the following schedule:

Monday & Thursday

9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturday

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

We provide morning, afternoon and evening appointments during those hours to accomodate your schedule. Due to the varying nature of medical problems and the unpredictable nature of emergencies, it is not always possible to forsee how long an appointment will require. However, we will attempt to be considerate of your valuable time.

Routine surgical procedures are performed Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

It is not possible for a single man practitioner to be available all the time. Therefore, when Dr. Burghard is unavailable, emergency services are provided by Allegheny Veterinary Emergency Trauma Specialists at 412-373-4200 and the Veterinary Emergency Clinic at 412-492-9855.
